What do we do?

We advise on strategies to create successful cities and communities. In short – we help make cities and communities work: work for residents, work for investors and stakeholders, and work to meet the objectives set by policy makers.

We believe that mobility is vital for a successful city or community, and that understanding transport issues helps us to understand how this can be achieved, but we do not neglect other important areas such as governance, delivery models, funding, regeneration, place-making and social development.

We specialise in:

  • Analysing and developing integrated strategies for successful cities, balancing overarching objectives for economic, environmental and social advance
  • Policy and investment audit and assessment
  • Governance and partnership development and facilitation
  • Balancing infrastructure supply with demand management
  • Innovative use of IT, new financial and delivery models and implementation mechanisms

From San Diego, to Melbourne, from Vienna to Newcastle, the ultimate focus of our work is on people. In the creation of successful and sustainable cities and communities for people, we understand that a holistic approach is required, balancing economic, social and environmental objectives.
